A historic hotel in the heart of the city since 1915, Lausanne Palace maintains close ties with local life. Its central location provides guests with an ideal starting point for discovering Lausanne and the surrounding region.
Sustainable development is an integral part of our approach. Our teams contribute to projects focusing on areas including mobility, purchasing, inclusion and resource management. To support this approach, a CSR Manager works across all six Sandoz Foundation Hotels, supporting them in implementing their commitments.
Our approach to sustainable development is based on concrete actions in areas including energy, water, waste, purchasing, mobility and social issues. Our actions, indicators and progress are presented each year in our ESG report.

Lausanne Palace is EarthCheck Silver certified. This certification is based on the assessment of environmental, social and economic criteria, as well as independent verification.
We participate in the Swisstainable sustainability programme and are classified as Level III – leading. This level requires recognised sustainability credentials that are regularly verified by independent external third parties.
Lausanne Palace is recognised as an LHW Sustainability Leader, a designation reserved for hotels holding a certification aligned with GSTC criteria.
