Sunday rhythm
The Lausanne Palace brunch is what lazy Sunday afternoons were made for.
After a leisurely long lie, make your way to Le Côté Jardin for a gourmet graze. Starting at a (very civilised) 12.30pm, this three-hour brunch event is something of a local legend.
You’ll find a cornucopia of flavour, colour and variety awaits your plate: comfort food fresh from the oven, succulent meats, local cheeses, crisp pastries and a parade of beguiling desserts to lead you astray.
A chilled glass of champagne is a fitting prelude to proceedings – just try to keep a level head as you survey the buffet. This is, after all, a marathon, not a sprint.
